SNOOKER PAIRS

Definitions

Striker
The person about to play is the striker and remains so until the referee has decided he/she has left the table at the end of play.

Four - Handed Snooker
Partners may confer during a frame but not whilst one is the striker and at the table. Nor after the first stroke of the strikers turn until the break ends.

The Referee
The referee shall be the sole judge of fair play and unfair play and be free to make a decision in the interest of fair play for any situation not covered adequately by a rule.

At the end of a snooker game, the only time when the black ball comes up is in the event of a level score and the need for a re-spot.

We a feel that it is an unfair advantage for players waiting to play their game to be practicing on another table, so from 7.30pm until you have played your match please do not play or practice.

Spalding Constitutional Club does not allow under 18s in.

The league is concerned about some of the dress attire and to help with this situation are banning baseball caps  hats  whilst playing.

If you are not fielding a full team you must inform the opposition team before the start of the match so that they can change the order of play if they wish.
